The old canning factory at Punta Lobos. You can still watch the fishermen come on to the beach with their Fresh Catch. You can buy your dinner right off the boat. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ryan riding a donkey at Kaia's. She has a riding school for kids. We are moving away from the adult-oriented behavior modification therapies we had been trying to reach him through his interests. He had a blast, and but it was way too nerve-wracking for me! I was worried he was going to get kicked in the head. Not therapeutic. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today while we were out watering the cows, the boys taught me how to eat the pit in the center of the Wild Plum. The yellow fruit is the plum. When you crack open the pit, there is a soft nut inside, similar to a pine nut. Yummy!
This little bull is super sweet and tame. I've shared pictures in my stories of the boys riding him. His name is Tejon, or Badger. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Hanging out at the family's old ranch. They're remodeling it and putting it back together. I didn't get a picture of the corrals, but they look great! I love the traditional off grid ranch houses. And the low tech sinks and stoves. I'd love to live in one for a week to try it out. I don't know if I'd want to go without running water and a gas stove for much longer!
